Do my guests need to download an app to share photos?
No. Guests scan a QR code at the event and start adding photos to the shared album instantly — there's nothing to install.
How do guests join my event?
Each event has a unique QR code. Guests scan it with their phone camera to join the shared album and start uploading photos.
What kinds of events is GatherCam for?
GatherCam works for any gathering where guests take photos — weddings, parties, trips, birthdays, and other events. Everyone's photos land in one shared album.
When can guests see the photos?
You choose the reveal date when you create the event. Until then, the album builds in the background. On reveal day, everyone can view the full album together.
How long are photos kept?
The free plan keeps photos for 1 week after the event. The paid plan keeps photos for 6 months so you can revisit and download them long after the event.
Is GatherCam free to use?
Yes. The free plan covers up to 2 guests, with 5 photo uploads each — great for trying it out. The paid plan unlocks unlimited guests and 24 photo uploads each for a one-time event fee.
Can I remove the 24 photo limit per guest?
Yes. When you create your event you can choose unlimited photos for every guest for an extra one-time fee, paid in the app. Everything else stays the same.
How do I download the photos from my event?
The event creator can download the full album from within the app once photos are revealed. Everything comes as a single download so you keep the memories forever.
